About
September 1942. The border between Poland and the Soviet Union in the town of Lenin. When nineteen-year-old Jewish photographer Faye Lazebnik’s family is murdered by the Nazis she picks up a rifle and her camera and escapes to join forces with the rebel partisans in the woods. Driven by her desire for retribution for her family, Faye learns to use the weapons at her disposal – most importantly her art – to fight for a better world.
